Sage & Co. Bakehouse was born out of love, legacy, and a lifelong passion for baking. My love for the kitchen started with an Easy-Bake Oven in my early youth and only grew from there. When I owned a dog café, I sold my first baked goods alongside the coffee, and I’ll never forget the joy of sharing something homemade with our customers. Baking has always felt like more than a recipe, it’s a way of sharing a piece of myself.

Even after closing the café and moving into the corporate world, I carried my love of baking with me. I often found myself back in the kitchen, chasing the same spark I felt when a customer bit into something I had made. Years later, life brought another season of change. After saying goodbye to my soul dogs, Sam and George, we soon learned about our daughter. That shift made me realize I was ready to create something of my own again. Baking became both a comfort and a bridge, connecting the memory of what I had built before with the new legacy I was beginning with her.

The name Sage & Co. Bakehouse reflects where I’ve been and where I’m going. “SaGe” holds the memory of Sam and George, and it also carries forward in the legacy I’m building with my daughter. This bakery is a way to honor the love that shaped me while creating a new chapter with her.

The recipes I bake today are rooted in tradition and nostalgia; some passed down to me, others tied to memories that feel like home. My bakes are simple, full of flavor, and meant to stir something familiar, whether it’s the comfort of a Sunday morning cinnamon roll, the warmth of a pie fresh from the oven, or the joy of a brownie shared with a friend. Each one is crafted to remind you of life’s sweetest, most ordinary moments.
